Most expeditions require a multi-disciplinary approach to the outdoors, and activities include hiking, backpacking, kayaking, mountain biking, boating, bushwhacking, rock & ice climbing, and research.
Our motto is We Go Farther because we go where most people have not gone. Most of our exploration is in the Great Lakes Watershed to include Michigan, the surrounding states and Canada.
We provide education and training for a wide variety of outdoor endeavors. From basic land navigation, rope work, overlanding, kayaking, bush craft, survival skills, outdoor leadership, advanced outdoor skills, wilderness rescue and wilderness medicine training.
Our instructors and Cadre includes experienced outdoor professionals, corporate and business leaders, first responder leaders, counselors and other professionals that add to the effectiveness of the program.
Our School of Expeditionary Sciences provides courses, training and information on a variety of subjects. They include outdoor skills, leadership, safety, search and rescue, wilderness medicine, expedition planning/execution and much more. The school combines online content with real world courses, trips, expeditions and training.
